PI Signia attaches great importance to protecting the personal data of its customers, prospects and visitors. This policy describes the processing carried out when you visit this website and when you correspond with our teams, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.

This website collects no data by itself

The website is a static site: it has no user account, no database and no server-side form processing.

The contact form sends no data to our servers: it simply prepares a message in your own email software, which you then choose whether or not to send. The information you enter is therefore neither stored nor processed by the website — it only reaches us if you actually send the email.

Our hosting provider may generate technical connection logs (IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed) that are necessary for the operation and security of the service. These logs are not used by PI Signia to track individuals.

Data you send us

When you contact us by email, by telephone, through this website or during a business exchange, we process the data you provide:

• professional identity and contact details: surname, first name, company, job title, email address, telephone number;
• the content of your request and the history of our exchanges;
• technical information about your project or your equipment, where you send it to us.

We collect no sensitive data within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR and carry out no profiling or automated decision-making.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to your requests for information, quotations or intervention — performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• Managing the commercial and contractual relationship (project follow-up, maintenance, invoicing) — performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• Sending you information about our activities in a professional context — legitimate interest of PI Signia (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), which you may object to at any time;
• Ensuring the security and proper operation of the website — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
• Complying with our legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Recipients

Your data is intended for:

• the PI Signia staff concerned by your request (sales, technical, management);
• where applicable, the Galilé group companies involved in handling your request;
• our technical providers acting as processors (website hosting, business email), only to the extent necessary for their service.

Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for advertising purposes.

Hosting and transfers outside the European Union

Data hosting area: European Union (France). If one of our providers has to process data outside the European Union, that transfer is covered by the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Retention periods

• Prospects and contact requests: 3 years from your last contact with us;
• Customers — contractual and accounting records: 10 years from the close of the financial year concerned, for accounting and contractual records;
• Technical connection logs: kept by our hosting provider for a limited period, for security purposes.

At the end of these periods, the data is deleted or archived in accordance with the applicable legal obligations.

Cookies and trackers: none

This website uses no cookies and no trackers. In practical terms:

• no audience measurement is in place (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no equivalent);
• no advertising cookies, and no social network buttons or widgets;
• fonts, images and scripts are hosted on our own server: your browser sends no request to a third-party service during your visit;
• no video player, map or third-party content is embedded in the pages.

No consent banner is therefore necessary. Should audience measurement be introduced in the future, this policy would be updated and your consent obtained where the regulations require it.

Security

PI Signia implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access. The architecture of the website — static, with no database and no user account — inherently reduces the exposure surface. Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS).

Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure and portability of your data, as well as a right to restriction of processing and a right to object to processing, in particular to any marketing.

To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@pi-signa.com or by post to ZA de l'Artière, 12-14 rue des Pâles, 63540 Romagnat, France. We will reply within one month of receiving your request. Proof of identity may be requested if there is reasonable doubt as to your identity.
